Appointed as assistent professor at the Academic Medical Center (AMC), Amsterdam, Clinical Research Unit (CRU), I advised and supported many clinical projects initiated and conducted by clinical investigators from different departments in the AMC.Including Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine, Surger, Infectious Diseases, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry.

My responsibility was to advice senior investigators setting up clinical studies, securing funding, and co-leading on the methodological, statistical and healtheconomic elements of projects; as well as co-supervising and mentoring PhD students, co-authoring study reports and publications.

Value to client

Strong combination of methodological expertise and experience, and strategic oversight to integrate the clinical context, the clinical and healtheconomic evaluation framework, addressing the clinical and societal perspective. The supporting role contributed to the quality of applications submitted to funding organoisations, improved success rates of clinical investigators appying for funding, and contributed to the scientific eduction and development of numerous junior clinicians during their (temporary) role as executive researcher.
